This is one of those inexpensive accessories that ended up being far more useful than I expected.
I use this leveling stand underneath my launch monitor to get the base perfectly level with my hitting mat. My simulator setup has a raised hitting surface, so simply putting the launch monitor on the floor wasn't ideal. The adjustable stand made it easy to dial in the height and level everything properly without having to improvise with blocks, shims, or other makeshift solutions.
It has also turned out to be useful when I take my launch monitor outside. Uneven grass can make getting the unit level surprisingly annoying, and having an adjustable base makes setup much quicker.
What I Like
- Easy fine adjustment for leveling
- Helps match the launch monitor to the height of a raised hitting mat
- Much cleaner than using blocks or shims
- Useful indoors and outdoors
- Small enough to keep with my launch monitor gear
It's not an exciting piece of golf equipment, but it's exactly the kind of small accessory that makes a simulator setup work better.
My take: If your launch monitor needs to sit level with a raised hitting mat—or you regularly use it outdoors—this is a simple accessory I would add to the setup.
